Doyle Conner Jr., 6th generation cracker and cowman will be presenting his extensive knowledge of the Florida cattle industry and the Florida cow hunder on November 3rd, 2016 at 6:30 pm (Eastern Standard time) in the Wakulla County Public Library. This program is free to the public. Doyle has spent more that 20 years sharing his stories, poetry, songs and historical articles all over the United States. He was the chairman on "The Great Florida Cattle Drive of 95". The cow hunters drove 1000 head of Spanish type cattle across Florida in order to celebrate 150 years of statehood. They had 600 riders and 25 wagons tag along just for fun. We sincerely hope that all of you will join us on this occasion to celebrate a part of Florida that is treasured by all.
