I am looking for old photographs of the beach and north bay communities of south Walton County. If your family vacationed there years ago or your organization has photographs in its collection, please contact me at DianeMerkel@cox.net.
The photographs will be used in a new book to be published by Arcadia Publishing in Spring 2011, Images of America: Coastal Walton County and copies will be placed in the collection of the Walton County Heritage Museum. You do not have to give me possession of your photographs; I can scan them at a location convenient for you.
